Furzeburrow is a charming and unique cottage praised for its stunning views, cosy atmosphere, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the spaciousness, comfortable beds, and the homely feel. The property's vintage charm and proximity to local amenities and coastal paths are highlights. Some guests noted the need for updates and minor maintenance, but these did not detract from the overall positive experience.
There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score for this category.
The location is highly praised for its mesmerising views, peaceful setting, and proximity to local shops, beaches, and coastal paths. It is described as a fantastic place to get away from it all, with easy access to amenities and nature.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage warm and cosy, especially during inclement weather. However, some guests mention that the sofas are uncomfortable and the radiators noisy, suggesting room for improvement in overall comfort.
The cottage is well-equipped and retains its 60s charm, with guests enjoying the authentic and rustic feel. However, there are comments about the need for updating kitchenware and repairing curtains, indicating that some facilities require attention.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through gestures like providing fresh flowers and returning items left behind. Homemade Cornish fudge is mentioned as a delightful treat, though it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Brilliant holiday as always in a lovely cottage overlooking the sea. A home from home.

Furzeburrow is a very unique property. It is non traditional construction a type of pre fab. The interior decoration and furniture and fittings are partially built into the property so would cause problems if any modernisation took place. So with this in mind it helps to understand the property. The size of all the rooms is surprising a bit tardis like. The beds are comfy and everything you need is there. The following 2 items could be looked into but did not spoil our holiday. Some of the kitchen bits ie pans need updating and the sitting room curtains need repairs or replacement. Our week there saw us experience heavy rain and stormy winds but the house remained warm and cozy. The view is the best I can remember

This is lovely cottage in an amazing location with beautiful sea views. A warm and cosy place to return to after coastal walks and days out.
