GROOMSCOTT.Was a lovely slngle floor cottage, close to ST Ives Penzance an Falmouth, there are places to eat within easy walking distance. We frequently enjoyed the food at the Trewellerd Arms the Steak and Fish were both excellent here.Ideal if you love long dog walks. The only thing that we found a little bit of a narky the entrance was a little tight, but driveable.Overall we both loved it here and had a feb time.

We had a great time at the cottage it was perfect. The owner made us feel so welcome. The location was ideal as a base to discover Cornwall. Its just a short walk from the cottage to the beautiful coast line where the series Poldark was filmed and another short walk to Geever Mine cafe for breakfast or lunch. We have a dog and there was lots of local walks and lovely beaches.. I would highly recommend a stay.

Groomscott is ideally situated close to the sea, SW coast path & historic tin mines. The proximity to Lands End, Minack theatre, charming coastal villages like Mousehole etc is great. Local pubs offer a good range of home cooked food. There are some lovely coastal walks a short distance from the door. The accommodation was clean and the enclosed courtyard is always a bonus with dogs. However we felt the place could do with some refreshment particularly the bathroom. We were lucky with the weather so we were out everyday. The wine, milk & dog biscuits were most welcome.
