There is a separate formal dining room on the ground floor next to the kitchen, featuring a large mid-century Danish table seating up to 10 and sideboard housing vintage crockery, cutlery and glassware. High ceilings with original features including a large panelled bay window overlooking the garden and an original fireplace, together with tall glass candlesticks set the scene. Here you can create relaxed dinner parties with family and friends yourself, or we can arrange a private chef to lay on a feast for you all while you sit back and relax. The sitting room is where you can spend your down time on the sofa whilst the open fire keeps you toasty; it is filled with striking features, such as its wooden flooring and picture window, offering views out to sea.

Take your pick from the inviting bedrooms, each of which have been elegantly presented with open fireplaces and en-suite facilities, as well as enjoying fabulous sea views to wake up to in the morning. On the first floor, you'll find a French-styled double bedroom with a convenient en-suite shower room, while the second-floor master bedroom is complete with a four-poster super-king-size bed, a wonderful feature fireplace and an en-suite with a freestanding roll top bath and shower cubicle to choose from. There is another double bedroom on this floor, while the top floor features a renovated loft which can be set up with twin single beds, one double bed or the Loaf day beds can be left as two settees.

Adults and children alike, choose to be right at the top of the house in the loft, with its stunning rooftop views over the sub-tropical Morrab Gardens and out to sea, sweeping right across Mounts Bay from the fishing harbour of Newlyn round to the Lizard. Its charming sloping ceilings and cosy feel is styled with a cool red Ercol armchair, a rocking chair, cheery red and white designer robin wallpaper and warm polished wood floors. When you’re not making the most of the indoors, head outside and enjoy alfresco dining in your own private garden, boasting mature borders and quirky features such as the garden cow ornament.

Within walking distance of the house you can find everything needed for a day of family fun; whether you’re visiting for one of the town’s famous events such as Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival and the Literary Festival, or you’re simply eager to escape to the soft sands and stunning waterfronts, you’re sure to find it here in Penzance. Walkers can look forward to exploring the breath-taking South West Coast Path which leads towards the Penwith Heritage Coast, home to Land’s End and a plethora of golden beaches, coves and more. The iconic Art Deco Jubilee Pool, with a wonderful cafe and well being studios is also just a short stroll from the house along the promenade.

Take your trails a little further and visit the seaside town of St Ives to see the working harbour whilst tucking into some traditional fish and chips. A wonderful holiday home in a popular location, to be enjoyed whatever time of year.

The sweep of Mount’s Bay, from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to Marazion, hides a wealth of beaches, coves, village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust’s beautiful St Michael’s Mount with its hilltop castle and Mediterranean gardens. The South West Coast Path passing through Penzance winds its way along the clifftops towards Land’s End. On the way, stop off for a coffee and a rest at Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head.
