This delightful, second floor apartment has spectacular views over Mevagissey, the harbour and coast, and is the perfect location for families or couples looking to spend summer holidays, long weekends or wild winter breaks storm watching. You will be comfortable and cosy in this modern, light apartment. Its elevated location provides an ever changing, mesmerising view that will thrill guests whatever the season. Enjoy the wild stormy seas bashing over the harbour wall, or the more tranquil summer skies and sunsets whilst watching the colourful fishing fleet. Walk in to Mevagissey where you will find a great selection of shops, art galleries, restaurants, cafés and pubs all serving great local food and ales. There is a great choice of takeaways, should you wish to have a break from cooking. There are also regular boat and fishing trips available from the harbour.
This is the perfect location for exploring many attractions in the area, including The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and many sub-tropical gardens and National Trust properties. With miles of spectacular coastal paths, the area is popular with walkers and bird watchers. There are plenty of beautiful beaches and quaint harbours, including the famous historical harbour at nearby Charlestown, the setting for many films and TV series, including the Poldark series. A great road network allows guests to visit many different locations with ease, including the cathedral city of Truro with its cinema and theatre. There is diverse coastline to explore, from the rugged north coast, famous for its surfing beaches, to the more tranquil sailing waters of the south Cornish coast. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Without doubt the best holiday accommodation I have stayed in, in the best location.Stunning views across to Mevagissey Harbour and the sea beyond which never failed to take my breath away.The weather was amazing during our stay, but I think even if it wasn't it would have been great just to sit in the window seat and look out to sea.Very comfortable, modern and bright apartment with lots of thoughtful touches by the hosts, Heather and Chris, plus excellent welcome goodies.Great to be staying in a property owned by a local family. Would love to return another time.The hillside location and the very noisy seagulls were not a problem for us, but might be an issue for some people.Definitely recommend.

Had a fantastic holiday at Penfose Apartment, the welcome pack was very generous. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with amazing views. It was so relaxing and a fantastic base to see Cornwall. Excellent hosts, I would definitely recommend the accommodation, I will be returning soon.
