We have visited Sweets Close 7 times now and we love it more with each visit.The property has always been spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Lizzie is only ever a phone call away if there are any problems (a rare occurance!). We love the location, it's in the village but is tucked away in a perfect spot and feels very secluded. A perfect base for exploring all areas of Cornwall, we are still finding new places to visit and have an 8th visit already booked. Highly recommended.

Felt very at home here. Well equipped and comfortable. Close to pub and village shop. Short bike ride to the beach. Lizzie was a very attentive host who wanted to ensure we had everything we needed. Nice to stay somewhere where the knives were sharp.Minor quibbles:The drive is quite steep and we struggled to get the car out as the corner is quite tight. Also, the shower is quite tight if you are a larger build.

We have stayed at Sweets Close 11 times. It is the perfect place for us. Communication with the owner before and during the visit is excellent. Her attention to detail of our requirements is superb. Nothing is too much trouble. This time, we stayed for two weeks. A mid-stay clean was arranged for us.The property is beautiful in its presentation and location. A quiet, private bungalow at the end of a narrow lane. No passing traffic. The property is very well appointed and always spotlessly clean. Both of the bedrooms have a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. The lounge has a log fire. Additional logs and kindling can be purchased from Hawke & Son in Polgooth. The shop is 10 minutes walk away. There is a pub with an excellent restaurant approx 13 minutes walk from the bungalow. The general stores in Polgooth is approx 8 minutes walk from the bungalow.Sweets Close has everything we look for on holiday.
