An Kres is a delightful, spotlessly clean and well-equipped apartment, perfect for couples and their dogs. Guests consistently praise its comfort, thoughtful amenities, and peaceful location with private parking. The owners are welcoming and helpful, often providing local tips. The property is a great base for exploring Cornwall, though the steep hill into Mevagissey may be challenging for some. The enclosed garden is a lovely sun trap, though a few guests noted it could be better maintained. Overall, visitors thoroughly enjoy their stay and frequently return.
Cleanliness is repeatedly highlighted as exceptional, with many guests describing the property as spotlessly clean, immaculate, and the cleanest they have ever rented. Only one or two minor comments were made, but none detracted from the overwhelmingly positive feedback.
The location is praised for its quiet setting, proximity to Mevagissey and local attractions, and convenient parking. However, the steep hill to the village is mentioned as a challenge for those with mobility issues or older pets, which slightly lowers the score.
Guests find the property very comfortable, with supportive beds, cosy furnishings, and a peaceful atmosphere. A few guests found the bed too firm for their preference, and there were occasional comments about heating, but overall comfort is highly rated.
The apartment is described as extremely well-equipped, with modern appliances, a full kitchen, washing machine, and thoughtful extras. Some minor suggestions were made (e.g., garden maintenance, additional bedding, or a potato peeler), but these did not significantly impact guest satisfaction.
Many guests mention the owners' friendliness, helpfulness, and thoughtful touches such as welcome packs or small gifts like wine and biscuits. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, but the overall sense of care and attention is consistently appreciated.

We had everything we needed and were very comfortable with lovely chairs and a comfortable and supportive mattress. A real home from home for 2 people. We enjoyed the courtyard garden at the back too.
