Outside a west facing terrace is ideal to soak up the afternoon and evening sun. At the end of the drive, you can join the coastal path which goes to St Ives, via Carbis Bay Beach, with its award winning blue flag waters and exciting water sports, in one direction and golden sands of Gwithian in the other. St Ives and the surrounding area can also be reached via a scenic railway, just around the corner from Atlantic Crest, this beautiful traditional fishing village is set amongst stunning beaches, a traditional working harbour and a mix of restaurants, cafes and unique boutique shops.
Further afield, Cornwall’s Eden Project is world famous for it’s glorious, enclosed rainforest, Pendennis Castle in Falmouth is one of many of Cornwall’s historic landmarks, along with St Michael's Mount near Penzance, a walk out to this stunning attraction at low tide is a memory that you’ll never forget, after a visit drive further along the coast until to reach Land’s End, while you're in the area don't miss one of the country’s most beautiful open air theatres, the Minack is dramatically set on the edge of a cliff. Atlantic Crest is set in ‘Happy Valley’ and it’s sure to put a smile on your face.
Short drive from St Ives, Carbis Bay is a charming beach resort with miles of sugar-white sand. Located on the north coast of the island, the beach features turquoise waters and sheltered circumstances that make it feel nearly tropical. Ocean Sports Centre is located on beach, so if sunbathing isn't your thing, why not rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and get out on the water instead.
