Perched on a cliff top this seafront ground floor apartment overlooks one of Cornwall’s most beautiful beaches, the award-winning blue flag Carbis By. Part of the prestigious Carbis Beach development it offers an unbeatable panoramic view from St Ives to Godrevy Lighthouse. Sleeping four, it is ideal for a small family or couple. At ground level, the open plan living area overlooks the sub-tropical gardens and beach. Step through the French doors to the sheltered decking area and drink in the colours of the ocean or relax among the cushions, inspired by the hues of the sea, on the comfortable curved sofa inside while enjoying the full Sky entertainments package.
The dining area is part of the open plan living area benefiting from sea views and close to the kitchen. A separate contemporary kitchen to the rear of the property features an opening to the dining area, so you can still socialise while preparing meals while enjoying the sea views. The master en-suite bedroom benefits from spectacular views, open the French doors step out onto the terrace or wake up to the sound of the sea and a view of Carbis Bay beach. Located to the rear, bedroom two has twin beds. This quiet room ensures a peaceful night’s sleep after a day at the beach.
The decked area at Azure extends across the whole of the frontage of the apartment so that you can step out of the French Doors from either the lounge or master bedroom. With a rattan table, four chairs with footstools, you can enjoy dining “al fresco” overlooking the beautiful St Ives Bay. You may also be lucky and see the seals or dolphins leaving you with wonderful memories you'll remember for a lifetime. Azure truly offers a superb base from which to explore Cornwall with the scenic railway nearby.
The beach hamlet of Carbis Bay is well renowned for its magnificent stretch of pure white sand, which is only a short drive from iconic St Ives. The beach feels almost subtropical, with turquoise waters and protected conditions, and is ideal for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The Ocean Sports Centre is located on the beach, so if sunbathing isn't your thing, rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and get out on the ocean instead. Alternatively, why not book a spa day at the boutique hotel that overlooks the beach and has a fantastic patio where you can sip cocktails while basking in the Cornish sunshine?

Fabulous views from the terrace. Very comfortable. Well equipped. We did have some problems. The en-suite shower was not very powerful , the bath plug didnât work and the bathroom could do with updating. The property was cleaned well but the outside furniture was filthy. The oven shelves were broken and came away from the oven. Also the key fob, in the safe, did not work (luckily we managed to tailgate another car to get into the car park, but it was an issue throughout the holiday as we were 2 couples). We reported the problem to the number sent, which turned out to be Carbis Bay holidays. The first time we tried to leave a voicemail but got a message to say VM wasnât available. The next day we rang but there was no reply. Then we messaged and the next day got an automated reply. Then got told to contact Sykes, though we seemed to be dealing with the same person. Who replied from CBH. On the final day, we were emailed saying Sykes hoped they had resolved the situation. I donât know if the issues were sorted before the next visitors.

Spacious lounge and master bedroom. Had everything we needed and more ! Stunning views and easy for the beach and train to St Ives. Many thanks for a great week !
