Bamaluz in Carbis Bay boasts a collection of reviews that highlight its excellent location, comfortable furnishings, and well-maintained facilities. Guests have enjoyed the beautiful walks, proximity to beaches, and the thoughtful touches like games and beach equipment. While most found the property clean and welcoming, a few noted minor cleanliness issues upon arrival.
Most guests reported Bamaluz to be clean and well-presented. However, a few guests encountered cleanliness issues such as dust, food remnants, and unclean towels. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, hence the score reflects a generally high standard with room for improvement.
The location of Bamaluz is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, scenic walks, and local amenities. Guests have consistently enjoyed the ease of access to St Ives and the stunning coastal paths, making the location almost universally acclaimed.
Guests have found the apartment comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a homely feel. Some guests suggested improvements such as non-feather pillow options for allergy sufferers and additional seating, but overall, the comfort level is regarded as high.
The facilities at Bamaluz are generally well-received, with guests appreciating the well-furnished and equipped apartment. There were a few minor maintenance issues noted, such as a non-working wine fridge and a lack of sharp knives, but these did not significantly detract from the overall experience.
While many reviews express gratitude for a pleasant stay and mention various amenities, there is no specific reference to gifts or special thoughtful gestures provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category accurately, and the score is set to null.

Weâre already thinking about re-booking. A few areas to note: - on arrival a slightly unpleasant smell in the en-suite bathroom which soon disappeared - wine cooler doesnât appear to work (not a problem - the wine went in the fridge!) - plenty of cutlery but very few food preparation knives which were not sharp - not much you can do but again the people in the apartment were noisy
