Brinyloft is frequently praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location near Carbis Bay beach and the train station. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedding, though some noted the need for maintenance and clearer instructions for appliances. The property's thoughtful touches, such as welcome offerings, are well-received, although they are not guaranteed for every stay.
Most guests found Brinyloft to be clean and tidy upon arrival, with only a few isolated comments about marks and the need for a deep clean of carpets and sofas. The overall impression is that the property is well-maintained in terms of cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to Carbis Bay beach, the coastal path, and the convenience of the nearby train station. The quietness of the area compared to St Ives is also appreciated, making it an ideal base for exploring.
Guests generally find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable bedding and cosy living area. However, some guests noted issues with the mezzanine bedroom being hot and the outdoor seating not being as expected.
The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as the shower, oven, and outdoor bench needing attention. The need for clearer instructions and the provision of items like oven gloves were also noted.
While guests have mentioned welcome offerings such as milk and chocolate buttons, these are not consistently referenced across the reviews to accurately assess the thoughtfulness of the property management. Therefore, it is politely noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

A certain amount of attention is required to some aspects of the property. The oven temperature knob is not operational and fell off at first touch and all the symbols on the appliance have been worn away, which left us searching for the manual online in order to use it correctly when cooking. There was a dirty frying pan in the cupboard, which we had to wash just so it was clean for future guests. On the whole, the kitchen would benefit from an upgrade as the lamination is separating on the cupboard doors. We needed to prop the shower head up with a sponge to prevent it from continuously drooping downwards. We also noticed it was mentioned in the Welcome Booklet that a mat is provided to place on the rug in the dining area for childrenâs mealtimes, however this was not found so we used a bin bag instead. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this accommodation to others. The complimentary milk, chocolate buttons and tote bag were very most appreciated, thank you.

However, a couple of small issues such as missing vanity in bedroom which we reported to Carbis Bay Holidays.

Which meant we had to eat out for 3 nights. Good location for the beach and the train. I would recommend that older people are informed that the car parking space is a step climb from the property.
