Guests say

Brinyloft in Carbis Bay is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location close to the beach and train station. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, and the property's cosy and homely feel. Some minor issues with maintenance and facilities are noted, but overall, guests have had enjoyable stays and many would return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with only a few remarks about marks on carpets and sofas suggesting a need for a deep clean. The overall impression is that of a well-maintained space.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to Carbis Bay beach, the train station, and local amenities. The ease of access to St Ives and the quietness of the area compared to busier locations are appreciated.

Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable bedding and living areas. However, some guests noted issues with the temperature in the mezzanine bedroom and the outdoor seating, slightly affecting the score.

The property is generally well-equipped, but there are several comments about specific issues such as the shower, the outdoor bench, and missing items like a hairdryer and oven gloves. These indicate room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While guests mention welcome touches like milk in the fridge and tea and coffee availability, there is not enough consistent information about gifts to accurately assess thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Which meant we had to eat out for 3 nights. Good location for the beach and the train. I would recommend that older people are informed that the car parking space is a step climb from the property.

Whilst there's (virtually) no sea view from the house it's well located. Beach five minutes down the hill and Carbis Bay station two minutes away. The station is ideal both for quickly getting to/from St Ives, heading out for walks or exploring further away. The patio area is somewhat misrepresented in the photos, in reality it's a small external stairwell not suitable for sitting out. The property was clean and well presented on arrival, there are a few marks etc. but really nothing significant. Whilst the parking place is a couple of hundred metres (and many stairs) away it was no bother to load/unload at the door then park. I'd recommend Carbis Bay as a location, much quieter that St Ives but close enough to wal/train quickly. Overall I'd recommend this property and would book again.

I cannot say the info I read was dishonest, but I expected a balcony to sit on, a sea view that wasn’t just a gap between other apartments and a garden as stated, not a path to the front door. Beds were very comfortable and the mezzanine area fabulous for youngsters. A well kitted out kitchen was helpful, do let people know it’s a Nespresso coffee machine, boy, did I need a coffee upon arrival after a long journey.Unloading car tricky as parking area well away from apartment and trying to contact the emergency number upon arrival, simply got me an automated message selling this holiday! Disappointing. Thank you for milk left in fridge, a welcome starter pack would have been so nice though (including a coffee pod or two!)
