For those who enjoy walking, the South West Coast Path lies within easy reach of the house. Stroll to Hawkes Point where the views over the bay are stunning. Porthkidney Sands lies close by with a mile-long beach which is backed by sand dunes. Nearby, St Ives is also easily accessible either by car, on foot or by train (about 3-minutes) so you can enjoy fish and chips on the harbour or a visit to the famous Tate St Ives.

Carbis Bay has a number of first-class restaurants so if you fancy eating out you can take your pick from spots like Adam Handling’s Ugly Butterfly, Walters On The Beach and The Hungry Gannet. Between Easter and October half term, the beach-based Ocean Sports Centre offers equipment hire and lessons so you can kayak, paddleboard and swim all day long. For a spoil, the Carbis Bay Hotel which is just down the road from the apartment, offers a range of spa facilities including treatments and pools.
