Located beside the footpath down to Lundy Bay, Trevan House is a stone’s throw from a peaceful, tidal beach, which makes for an ideal sunset walk after supper. Sleeping eight guests, this holiday home is perfect for families or large groups, that welcomes your dog as well, for a memorable, Cornish getaway. The ground floor, social spaces have a homely feel with a well-equipped kitchen inspiring house chefs to cook up a hearty meal after a day exploring the North Cornwall coast. Relax in the dining area next to the kitchen, the perfect conversation hub benefiting from stunning views of the unspoilt coastline.
Trevan House has four bedrooms set over two floors, most of them cleverly angled to take advantage of the ocean views. Access the wonderful garden from the sitting room or sink into a plush chair and watch the everchanging seascape from the comfort of your holiday home. The large first-floor balcony makes a perfect spot for some alfresco dining while the garden lends itself to adventures and fun outdoor games. Trevan House is ideally located away from the hustle and bustle between Polzeath and Port Quin, with plenty of off-road parking. For keen walkers and those who love exploring the spectacular coastline and sea views from the garden at Trevan House you can walk through the small paddock which sometimes the owner keeps her sheep in and go through the wooden gate at the far end, this leads onto the National Trust headland and onto the SW coastal path ( please make sure you shut the gates to keep the sheep safely in their paddock) You can take a relaxing walk down to Lundy Bay, a sheltered cove with a sandy beach at low tide, ideal for watching the wildlife on the way.
For those who like a challenge, experience the dramatic coastal paths whilst soaking up the fresh sea air and views. Polzeath is only a car journey away and a favourite spot for surfers of any ability, with beachside restaurants, shops, galleries, and cafés on offer. Sunsets here are well worth lingering on the beach for, perhaps with a cold beer or barbecue. Escape to the coast with a stay at Trevan House.
New Pozeath is a Cornish seaside village that benefits from an idyllic coastal location. A prominent 19th century Atlantic terrace overlooks the scenic bay, perfect for surfing, with stunning views of the Camel Estuary to Padstow and beyond. At low tide Polzeath and Pentireglaze beaches can be accessed via a short stroll. In addition to surfing there is kayaking, wind & kite surfing - all available locally. Rock is 3.3 miles away with an abundance of top class restaurants and quality shops. Historic Tintagel is short coastal drive north.

Itâs just perfect whatever the weather . Our party were 86yrs old , 6 months old and everything in between . My brother and family rented another John Bray for the same week and we had many precious times together ( we never completed that zodiac puzzel though! ) Trevan is superbly warm and comfortable. Thank you owners . 5 star, canât fault .

For us it is absolutely home from home, with generous size rooms, comfortable furniture and unsurpassable views. Trevan is beautifully quiet, equipped with pretty much everything you need. ( I do take my coffee machine with me). It feels like staying in a âhomeâ, not a soulless holiday let. As long as your idea of a perfect holiday by the sea does not involve white panelling and seaside bunting I cannot recommend Trevan highly enough. Itâs heaven. A very special place.

Lundy Bay is beautiful and so close and it almost feels like a private beach with the access from the house. However, people should be aware that it states there is Wifi but there is basically zero wifi. We couldn't get any all week and 5G was intermittent so even messages often didn't get through. People who would want to work/ enjoy the digital tv channels should be aware. And hopefully this can be improved for next year given that the next door property has perfect wifi speed (we spoke to the owner). Wifi aside, a wonderful stay in the most beautiful of settings.
