Venture further up the coast to the surfer's paradise of Newquay, boasting three excellent beaches and a host of attractions, including an aquarium, zoo and indoor pool, while Crantock boasts miles of picturesque sandy beaches. The village of Goonhavern is just two and a half miles inland from Perranporth and its magnificent beach, on Cornwall's north coast. Goonhavern boasts a traditional in, an excellent village shop, a garden centre and children’s playground. Nearby Perranporth's beautiful sandy beach stretches for three miles long and is overlooked by craggy rocks and is lifeguarded in summer, making it ever popular with families.
