Anglers can try their luck trout fishing at the Angling and Watersports Centre. Top House is well presented and it is clear that the owners have spent lots of time and money on converting the barn. We were not allowed to use the hot tub due to the hosepipe ban which was not the owners fault. However, we were very disappointed with the living space. Advertised as suitable for 6 people, and yes it does sleep 6 with 3 big bedrooms it felt very much that the shared living space has been greatly compromised to be able to advertise as suitable for 6. 3 people can not even sit and watch the television in comfort, and you can not sit together around the table. This was a real shame for us as booked for a 50th birthday. Access to the back of the property is poor as it is through the bedroom and so difficult to access without disturbing others. Also not great when you have mobility issues and we decided against even trying with the chair due to the courtyard being laid with decorative stone. This despite the property being advertised as accessible. The parking is poor, we had to park half on the road and lay-by 2 nights. I would not book again and I’m disappointed with the information given by the holiday company prior to staying who said it is more than suitable for 6.

The property is lovely, good location. The owners are very proactive, friendly and were quick in responding to us when we needed another baking tray. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. The hot tub was a great addition and used a lot. Just be aware you have to carry your luggage to the property the drive way is pedestrian only. I would highly recommend the property. Thank you to all the team involved.

From start to finish our stay at this beautiful Cornish Hamlet was incredible. The communication from staff members was fantastic even before we arrived. The owners were very accommodating with us celebrating a special birthday here and couldn’t do more for us. The amenities at the property were beyond what we anticipated, the kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans etc. The accommodation was just stunning and the location is superb. Fabulous memories made in a fabulous place. Our whole family would highly recommend and we will most certainly be back. Nothing short of fantastic!
