Guests say

Nan-Tis is a charming, characterful cottage in a tranquil rural setting near Wadebridge, praised for its spaciousness, beautiful gardens, and proximity to local attractions and beaches. Guests consistently highlight the peaceful atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and suitability for families and dogs. The hosts are described as friendly and helpful. While most reviews are highly positive, a few mention minor issues such as steep stairs, lack of an information folder, and occasional maintenance points. Overall, guests thoroughly enjoy their stays and many return year after year.

Reviews frequently mention the cottage being very clean, with particular praise for the bathrooms and overall tidiness. Only one review notes a lingering smell of fresh paint, but this does not detract significantly from the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, proximity to Padstow, beaches, and walking trails, as well as easy access to shops and pubs. Guests appreciate the tranquil rural setting and convenience for exploring the area.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with cosy beds, a welcoming fire, and a spacious layout. One review mentions an uncomfortable mattress cover, but this is an isolated comment among otherwise positive feedback.

The cottage is described as well-equipped, with a good kitchen, wood burner, and extras like beach gear. Some guests would have liked an information folder and a food composter, but overall facilities are highly rated.

Several guests mention thoughtful touches such as milk, biscuits, and log burner fuel on arrival, as well as a helpful and responsive host. Please note that these gestures are not guaranteed for every stay.

We had a lovely 4 night stay here at Nan Tis.The cottage is in a lovely setting with a fantastuc wrap around garden. We slept in the ground floor bedroom which was comfortable at this time of year using the heater at times. However the mattress covers were very badly fitting which led to quite a lumpy, uncomfortable sleep. The kitchen was well equipped but make sure you set the oven clock to the correct time or else it won't switch on .Sadly, we couldn't locate a visitor information book or folder so no info about the cottage, waate collection, where to place any dog waste ( we took it away with us & disposed of it in dog waste bin elswhere ), local amenities ior emergency numbers..A lovely cottage, milk, biscuits & log burner fuel much appreciated. Owner very helpful & friendly.Thank you.
