Guests say

Nan-Tis is a charming, characterful cottage in a tranquil rural setting, highly praised for its spacious garden, peaceful atmosphere, and proximity to local attractions such as Padstow and the Camel Trail. Guests consistently highlight the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and suitability for families and dogs. The cottage’s unique features and welcoming hosts are frequently mentioned. While a few guests noted minor issues such as steep stairs, occasional maintenance points, and the absence of an information folder, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a popular choice for repeat visitors.

Most guests found the cottage very clean, especially the bathrooms and kitchen. A couple of reviews mentioned a strong smell of wet dog and fresh paint, but these were exceptions rather than the norm.

The location is widely praised for its peacefulness, beautiful surroundings, and easy access to Padstow, Wadebridge, beaches, and walking trails. The rural setting and proximity to local pubs and supermarkets are highlighted as major positives.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with cosy beds, a welcoming fire, and a spacious layout. Some noted steep stairs, uneven floors, and a lumpy mattress cover, but these did not detract significantly from overall comfort.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a good kitchen, wood burner, and extras like beach gear. Some guests mentioned a lack of an information folder, a weak shower, and minor maintenance issues, but overall facilities met or exceeded expectations.

Several guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as milk, biscuits, and log burner fuel on arrival. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed. The hosts are described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

If you want the full Cornwall experience then this is the place to stay. Quirky and stunning scenery. In the hot weather it’s like having your own personal air con house. Definitely booking again next year.

Nan ‘Tis was a welcome holiday for us all, the cottage was beautiful but unfortunately I can’t give it a excellent rating as there was just a few things that I feel could be improved upon As you arrive you are struck by the beauty of the cottage but the internal decor was a little tired and the shower lacked any type of pressure so it was bath time for us all. Please don’t think I’m disappointed because the holiday was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to book Nan ‘Tis again. Thanks Gareth Davies 👍🏻🤓
