Guests say

Nan-Tis is a charming, characterful cottage in a tranquil rural setting, highly praised for its spacious garden, peaceful atmosphere, and proximity to Padstow and local attractions. Guests consistently mention the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and suitability for families and dogs. The cottage’s unique features and welcoming hosts are appreciated, with several guests returning year after year. While a few minor issues such as steep stairs, occasional odours, and the absence of an information folder were noted, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a popular choice for a relaxing Cornish getaway.

Most guests found the cottage very clean, with particular praise for the bathrooms and general upkeep. A couple of reviews mentioned a strong smell of wet dog and fresh paint, but these were exceptions rather than the norm.

The location is frequently highlighted as a major strength, with guests appreciating the peaceful countryside, proximity to Padstow, beaches, and local walks. The setting is described as tranquil and ideal for exploring Cornwall.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, enjoying the beds, spacious rooms, and cosy atmosphere, especially with the wood burner. Some noted steep stairs and uneven floors, and one mentioned an uncomfortable mattress cover, but overall comfort was rated highly.

The cottage is praised for being well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and for providing extras like beach gear. Minor suggestions included the need for a sharper knife, a food composter, and an information folder, but these did not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as milk, biscuits, and log burner fuel on arrival, as well as the provision of beach equipment. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Absolutely fantastic house. It had everything we needed. Location is beautiful, very small village. Wadebridge and huge supermarkets just a few miles away. We stayed for 7 nights and loved every single day. The kitchen has everything you need to cook family dinners. We even did a roast on Easter Sunday. I would highly recommend.

The flooring was advertised as uneven; please be aware it’s extremely uneven in the upstairs big bedroom .The cottage was beautiful but sadly had a very strong smell of wet dog in the front room.
