Guests say

The property is praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchens, and suitability for large groups, with special mention of its excellent location. While some guests encountered issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the overall experience was enjoyed, particularly due to the property's layout and amenities.

Guests have reported issues with cleanliness, including a dirty courtyard and unclean cooking pots. However, some reviews mention the property being spotlessly clean, indicating inconsistency in this area.

The location is consistently praised for being central, close to the town, beach, and park, making it an excellent spot for visitors.

The property is generally found to be comfortable and well-suited for large groups. Some guests mentioned issues with heating and a musty smell, but overall, the comfort level is high.

Facilities are well-regarded with ample bathrooms and kitchens. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a broken dishwasher and Wi-Fi problems, which slightly lower the score.

Guests appreciated the welcome pack and the property's accommodation of large groups and families. It's noted that such gifts enhance the experience, though they may vary and are not guaranteed.

Parking was a little bit of a problem as there were 5 cars to accommodate, as there were guests there from Bristol, Bath, Amesbury North Devon and South Devon. Car sharing was not an option as there was a registered disabled person and a baby included in the party so they both needed to park in front of the house. We did use the parking for the solicitors at the end of the terrace but only to pack the cars at the end of our stay. The check-out time of 10.00am was also a little bit of a problem as trying to get 10 adults and the baby out by this time was a little rushed. I think we made it by 10.15 - sorry. (I also think we may have forgotten to empty the dishwasher - again apologies. I hope this did not cause any problems?) All in all a great weekend despite the weather! Thank you for renting us your beautiful accommodation. We would definitely use again and would recommend to others.

Suited us as party of 10 so perfect as we all had our own spaces and could get together in the lovely kitchen/diner and in the lounge. Smelt a bit musty as we first went in and notice alot of empty air plug ins etc so must be a slight problem. Seemed a bit better after use though. Our main bug bear was there was only one tea towel between 10 of us for a week so we had to let them know, but 3 more were supplied day or two after! Also, lack of oven gloves - had one little plastic finger-end silicone one whereas you really need 2 of those to hold the weight of the hot dishes. Kitchen well equipped generally though and dishwasher was good (we did clean the filter at the bottom inside as I don't think that had been done for ages!). Ran out of loo rolls as well so had to refill. Also, couldn't clean the bath properly after we had one as no cloth or cleaning stuff. Other than those things, that didn't spoil the holiday anyway; loved the place and perfect for us and would go back!

It is in a good, quiet location only a short 5 minute walk from shops and another 5 minutes to the seafront. Unfortunately, we had no hot water on arrival and then on 2 further occasions. We were told that the heating and hot water is controlled by the owner so the maintenance team have to keep contacting him in order to rectify the situation. This was both frustrating and annoying, when after a day out in the hot weather no one could use the showers. Overall this is a beautiful house- perfect for large families.
