You’ll also be just 0.5 miles from the centre of the pretty village, with its thatched inns and ice cream parlours. Walking opportunities in this neck of the woods are endless, with the dramatic South West Coast Path leading past the property. Sleeping five guests, the apartment is ideal for both families and groups of friends. After a day in the waves, return to your cosy abode for a sundowner on the terrace.
Before setting foot in your holiday cottage, take a moment to appreciate the stunning views across Croyde Bay. Once inside the ground-floor accommodation, you’ll find a hallway to store your sandy shoes, before heading into the inviting lounge. Relax on the comfy sofas with a good book, or enjoy a film together on the Smart TV. The property has three bedrooms, comprising a king-size bedroom, a twin, and a single. Outside, pour yourself a glass of wine and soak up your beautiful surroundings on the terrace which overlooks the sea.
If you do just one walk during your holiday, make it a clifftop amble to Baggy Point. The 2-mile path takes you along the west side of Baggy Point to its tip, with far-reaching coastal views and the chance to spot a wide variety of seabirds. Set on the edge of Exmoor, Arlington Court National Trust (17.5 miles) makes a great day out and offers an entirely different landscape. Wander amongst its magical walled gardens and take woodland walks along the 20 miles of footpaths, before exploring artefacts in the fascinating Regency house or tucking into a traditional cream tea in the cafe.
