A bright and sunny first floor apartment arranged on two floors, which provides comfortable accommodation for four people. The property is well equipped, has a small balcony, views of the river and is a one minute level walk to the centre of town and to the embankment.

Entrance to property is a little unnerving if visiting for first time. A door off the street next to a block of gas meters and a bland set of stairs inside. However, once at the top of the stairs the property has a pleasant hall which allows access to a quirky, clean and serviceable apartment which met our needs well.A separate shower would have been nice but did not hinder the enjoyment of our stay. A fabulous and totally convenient location.Would happily stay there again.

No. 3, 10 Lower Street totally exceeded my expectations! The property had everything you could need for a comfortable self catering holiday. The lounge was spacious with the furniture as in the photos, and the view from the patio doors offered a wider view of the boats than I expected having read a previous review, and we could see the steam train arriving and departing from Kingswear station across the river. The bedrooms were more spacious than the photos suggest, with wardrobes and chairs.The location was fantastic - only a few minutes walk (flat, once you get outside) to numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants and interesting shops. We ate out every night and can thoroughly recommend the Dartmouth Arms and Bayards Cove Inn, which are very close by. The Cherub was a very interesting pub - the oldest building in Dartmouth dating from around 1380.Despite being close to the Lower Ferry, and Dartmouth being quite busy, the property was exceptionally quiet. It is positioned at the back of No. 10, in between Lower Street and South Embankment, so no traffic or people directly walking past.It was very clean, bright and airy. There was a box of new cleaning products provided including dishcloth and sponge, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. There was a new bath mat and shower curtain, and large white fluffy towels. The beds had different types of pillows provided so it is easy to find a comfortable combination to suit our taste! There was a good selection of books, and we had no problems with working the TV!The car park permit was a great benefit. We parked up on the first day and then didn’t use the car again until we were going home. We were able to have some great outings using ferries, buses and the steam train, as well as walks of course, and given the cost of the car parks in Devon using public transport probably worked out cheaper! I was a little concerned before our arrival due to the lack of previous reviews (which from past experience can mean no one has anything good to say, so they don’t submit a review!). However I need not have worried as I cannot fault this house and will be very happy to stay here again anytime I come back to the area.

A new shower curtain and bath mat as they were very discoloured and the bath mat was not usable it was old ground in dirt.needs binning.A second cloth to wipe up the washing up with would be nice and a hand towel in the kitchen.A air fryer would be a great addition.
