Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and family-friendly features. The unique upside-down layout and balcony are highlights. Some guests noted areas needing attention, such as cleanliness, maintenance, and the steep approach, but overall, the property offers a memorable and enjoyable stay in a beautiful setting.
Several guests found the property clean and comfortable, but there were notable concerns about dirty windows, mould on the balcony and patio furniture, and some maintenance issues affecting overall cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its breathtaking views and proximity to Dartmouth and local attractions. The steep hill and challenging parking are mentioned, but most guests felt the views and setting more than made up for these minor inconveniences.
Guests found the house spacious, beds comfortable, and the living areas relaxing. The upside-down layout and large bathroom were appreciated, though a few minor safety suggestions were made for families with young children.
The property is generally well-equipped, with positive mentions of the kitchen, dishwasher, and TVs. However, some guests reported missing or broken items (washing machine, oven gloves, hair dryer, stair lights), and maintenance issues were noted.

Great house - comfortable and well equipped, it does have a telly (two in fact!) and a washing machine. Best feature is the balcony - the views are stunning and a perfect place to watch life on the river. The house is on a very steep road but worth the climb for those views!

Lovely house, had everything we needed. A parking space would have been nice but we found free parking on the road above (listing mentions 1 week parking at the marina but this was not an option that we found at that site). Please be aware, when the listing mentions a steep hill, I really means steep. Not for the faint hearted. You have been warned 😀
