Guests appreciate the property's excellent location in Dartmouth, with its proximity to local amenities and the bonus of secure underground parking. The property is generally found to be clean and comfortable, with a well-maintained appearance. However, some guests have noted issues with the comfort of the beds and the performance of certain facilities.
The property is often described as clean, with specific mentions of a caretaker ensuring cleanliness and sanitisation. However, there are isolated complaints about grubby carpets and sofas, dirty windows, and mould in the bathroom, suggesting room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for being central, close to shops, and offering easy access to Dartmouth's attractions. The convenience of on-site parking is frequently mentioned as a significant advantage.
While the property is generally considered comfortable, there are recurring comments about uncomfortable beds, particularly the main bed, and issues with a squeaky single bed. These detract from the overall comfort of the stay.
Facilities are adequate, but several reviews point out maintenance issues such as problematic plumbing, inadequate shower facilities, and a need for more kitchenware. The presence of a washer/dryer and secure parking are positives, but the need for updates and repairs is evident.
There is insufficient information in the reviews to assess the level of thoughtfulness, such as the provision of gifts or special touches. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.

It is always spotless and comfy. Our only criticism would be that the bedroom TV has never worked! We have been three times and never been able to watch it. It really is time it is replaced or removed ! Secondly the wardrobes are beginning to be full of storage leaving less room for visitorsâ use. A few more decent coat hangers would be quite nice too please. The sound bar under the lounge tv is also not working. I know these are things which donât matter too much with summer visitors but out of season visitors would like these things sorted! As said previously, we love the property and will be back when it will be interesting to see if our comments have been taken on board !!

The apartment is very well maintained and the kitchen is well stocked with lots of utensils, crockery and pans. The bedrooms are a good size and the lounge area is spacious. The only issue was the difficulty figuring out the washer/dryer because the details have worn off and we found the manual quite confusing to understand. I'd definitely recommend the property because it was walking distance to everything you need in Dartmouth and just what we needed.

Great central position in the town, the biggest issue was with a nesting gull and her 2 chicks, they screeched all night
