Situated on the edge of Thurlestone Sands, ‘Thurlestone Rock’ is a development of spacious marine apartments, all of which enjoy sweeping views towards Bigbury Bay. Thurlestone Rock and Burgh Island provide a stunning coastal vista, whilst the adjacent coastal path offers wonderful walks. It is the perfect spot for those in search of a luxurious coastal break.
4 Thurlestone Rock is a comfortable, first floor apartment enjoying spectacular ocean views from the living room and master bedroom. A well equipped kitchen, including electric double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge freezer. There is also a dining table that seats six stools. The separate utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and storage units. The combined dining and living room is spacious, and enjoys a double patio door leading onto a private balcony (with teak table and chairs) boasting stunning sea/beach views. Comfortably furnished, there are two three-seater sofas, an easy chair, large TV/DVD unit, radio/iPod dock sound system, and a six seater dining table. The spacious master bedroom enjoys sea views, and has a King-size bed, stylish furniture, flat screen TV and en suite bathroom with combined bath/power shower. The two further bedrooms each have twin beds, and rolling country views. There is a further bathroom with a bath, shower cubicle, bidet and heated towel rail. One small, well behaved dog is permitted.
Guests also enjoy free use of the communal patio area with barbeque facility and sun deck, and exclusive use of the outdoor heated swimming pool. There is one allocated visitor parking space.
The coastal village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the popular sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. Just a 10-15 minute drive away is the sailing town of Salcombe, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is also a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path, offering stunning panoramic sea views.

I mentioned it last year but the master bedroom could fit a super king size bed rather than a king, most of the apartments we rent have super king size beds so the king size has had its day now. The fire doors self closers drove us mad as it must do the owners and easy to rectify, Just take them off. Thank you for replacing the faulty dryer so quickly which was great. Hope you donât mind the feedback but Iâm in the property business so feedback is useful. Thank you to Sue the owner who messaged me too so quickly.

Generally comfortable and lots of glasses and mugs etc. Sink in master ensuite is loose and dangerous. Could easily fall off if leaned on. Shelf in fridge door was broken-wonât be useable for much longer. We found one of the wooden chairs on the balcony was broken on arrival. Carpet has multiple holes from moth damage. Door to patio is difficult to close. Itâs a shame itâs no longer possible to contact coast and county locally- just a central call centre with people who donât know the property or area.
