A lovely house well positioned to the town allowing you to walk in which is great as parking is difficult in town. House is clean and well equipped. However please note there is no freezer or ice compartment in the fridge, which is difficult in hot weather…. No ice etc. I had a knee problem and needed ice packs but had nowhere to freeze them! There also is no welcome pack and the house doesn’t even have salt or pepper provided. Something as basic as this would have been useful. The WiFi was working in the house but we couldn’t access it as the password was not accepted. We attempted to get this resolved from day 1 and after several conversation's with cottages.com and a visit from their local office we were still unsuccessful for the entire week!. Looking up places to visit and accessing emails etc was all very difficult. If this was resolved we would have given this house full marks. Salcombe and Devon is beautiful but practice your reversing for the single track roads and for the very tight parking at the house.

Lovely spacious cottage. Nice outdoor area for dining al fresco. Beds are quite soft mattress wise. Great view over Salcombe church and bay from the upper floors, short stroll downhill to the town centre for restaurants, shops and harbour. Would recommend

Overall a well equipped house and the location was suburb! Salcombe was stunning. The parking was an issue and definitely NOT suitable for several cars! It was a tight squeeze with the central concrete steps and other obstacles to navigate, the photo was very misleading.🙁Trades vans blocking the access most of the week and constant noise from trades work next door! Not as clean as it should have been, front door lock temperamental and a power cut on our third evening/ night. Hence only 3 stars! Sadly disappointing. PS ( a welcome pack would also have been appreciated)
