The major part of an imposing recently renovated Victorian family home, well equipped and with wonderful views over the main anchorage towards South Pool creek. The property is within two minutes walk of the shops and quays, overlooks Courtenay Park, and has a large balcony and terraced patio, garden and parking.

Great experience whilst staying at the house. The house was very well equipped, views are fantastic and there is lots of accommodation. Overall excellent!!!!! My only criticism was after carrying out a final check as my family were leaving on the last day, it didn’t look as though the cleaners had ever vacuumed under any of the bedroom furniture. Apart from that, we will be back next year!!

We had a wonderful stay in Rockstedde. This was our second stay here and we were very impressed with the refurb. Couldn’t fault the accommodation and location, however some suggestions to make it a five star accommodation I would recommend the following: Storage- out of the five 5 bedrooms, only 2 had wardrobes - so struggled to store clothes in the few draws available for the remaining 3 bedrooms. Hairdryer- only one was available for the whole house. Shower- missed a shower in the loft room so had to share with bathroom 2 floors down- we were aware of this but due to the shape of the bath you may want to highlight this a little more, as the bath is not suitable for those with mobility issues. Cleanliness- we found rubbish/food under the beds in a couple of bedrooms, so a double check for cleaners would be recommended. Bathroom door handles- all handles on all bathrooms were very stiff and needed 2 hands to open - we all got stuck many a time struggling to open easily. Also do not lock the sliding door in the loft bathroom as this gets stuck and can only be opened with extreme difficulty!! Stairs- the stairs down to the lower ground floor are in need of a full length handrail. Back garden- the handrail down the back garden stairs has weathered and some of the wood is rotten.

Excellent property - the photos don’t do it justice. House very well equipped contains everything needed. Well positioned to the harbour and main town. Would recommend.
