With its own stone tower, this is an iconic house in Salcombe blending heritage and style. Modernised with sliding glass doors and balconies, it takes advantage of its position to show off the glorious views over the Salcombe estuary.
Spacious, well-equipped and close to the action in town, this is the ultimate house for a holiday with family or friends.
The Tower is a very special house blending its heritage with modern living. This Grade II listed house is a known Salcombe landmark featuring a crenellated stone tower dating from 1795. The property is light and airy with large swathes of glass windows affording wonderful views across the estuary to the famous sandy beaches and hills, the mouth of the harbour and out to sea.
Large open plan living spaces, additional snug, well-sized bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms make this a fantastic house for entertaining friends and family.
In a great location just above the Salcombe Yacht Club steps, it’s an easy walk into town to find the shops, restaurants and action on the waterfront.
Entering the house through the impressive stone tower and into the wide hallway, the sitting room is the perfect place to relax in the evening watching the latest blockbuster or reading a book in peace away from the main hustle and bustle of the house.
Three well-sized bedrooms are on the ground floor. A kingsize bedroom and a twin bedroom have double glass doors out to a juliet balcony with fantastic sea views. They share a well-sized family bathroom with bath and separate shower. The third bedroom is a super king with ensuite shower room.
To the first floor and the additional three bedrooms. A super king bedroom has dual aspect views from the glass windows and its own balcony plus access to the tower itself, and a huge and impressive en suite bathroom. An additional super king size bedroom can also be set up as a twin, and it too has folding windows out to the balcony with stunning views over the harbour plus an ensuite shower room. The final bedroom is a kingsize with en suite shower room.
Downstairs, the open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area flow out to the large terrace. This is the main hub of the house where you’ll gather with your guests during your stay. Cook up a storm in the well-appointed kitchen or create the all important picnic for sunny days on the beach. There are spectacular views over the water to the beaches and out to sea. Watch the action on the water from the comfortable outdoor seating, sunbath in style on the loungers, or enjoy meals al fresco and get those sausages sizzling on the gas barbecue.
With regret this property is not suitable for children under 5 years of age. No unsupervised children should be allowed on the roof.
No smoking.
No pets allowed.

The Tower exceeded expectations, what a view across the estuary. The place was massive and easily accommodated our business conference the only drawback being the lack of on-site parking but luckily on-street parking was available relatively close-by.

The most fantastic place! The pictures do not do it justice. Sea views from almost every bedroom and 10 minutes walk to the centre.
Dan
Salcombe is always a winner! The Tower is great. Stunning views, 10/10 recommend
