1 Lyndhurst in Salcombe is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and facilities. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness and the convenience of having a parking space. The location offers beautiful views, though the steep walk to and from the town centre may challenge some. The property is equipped with essential amenities, and while there are some concerns about maintenance, the overall experience is positive.
The majority of guests found the property to be very clean, with only one review mentioning it wasn't clean upon arrival. This suggests a generally high standard of cleanliness.
The property's location is appreciated for its views and proximity to local amenities, but the steep walk and potential parking difficulties when all flats are occupied have been noted as drawbacks.
Guests consistently describe the property as comfortable, with a particularly comfortable king-size bed and good sofas, contributing to a pleasant stay.
Facilities like a washing machine, dishwasher, and allocated parking are well-regarded. However, some guests reported issues with appliances, such as a non-working dishwasher and a temperamental cooker.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Parking space a bit daunting but soon got used to it. Thanks for supplying all the little things you need even kitchen roll! Great location for our coast path walks and got fit walking down and back up from shops!

The accommodation was as described and very clean and tidy. The facilities were good and the apartment was well equipped. The apartment was conveniently located and having parking was really helpful. Overall a really great place and we would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends

We found having the washing machine and dishwasher really useful. A lovely shower with lots of hot water. The apartment is about 5 minutes walk to the centre of town, but you do need to be fit to cope with the very steep walk back, which is the price you pay for having a nice view of the estuary. Lots of great pubs and nice places to eat in Salcombe and wonderful walks, with outstanding views, in and around the local area.
