Tappers Quay is a small development of apartments situated on the waters edge, opposite ’Fish Quay’ and a short, level walk from Salcombe town centre, shops, restaurants and quays. Although without direct water views, apartment 2 provides family accommodation which is decorated and furnished to a high standard. The property benefits from allocated undercover parking for one medium sized car (5m x 2m space). There are adjacent landing steps.

We had a great holiday. The accommodation was great warm, comfortable and clean.It is local to everything.

Apartment: superb - comfortable, clean and perfectly located. Communication: poor throughout. Repetitive, confusing mesages and phone calls to any number seemed to divert to Cottages HQ. Were asked to ring 'the caretaker' with our arrival time but unclear how to do this. ...Parking: the listing states the space can accommodate a medium-sized car, but (once too late to cancel) we received repeated mesages saying to bring a 'small car only'. We were confused, but went by the info in the listing. On arriving, a van was parked in the space next to ours, and the shape of the parking area made it imposible to manoeuvre past this to get into our space. Took car to a long stay car park. Phone calls to Cottages unhelpful; we were either told our car was 'not small' and we'd have to park elsewhere, or that it was the right size and we needed photo evidence of it not getting past the van to be compensated. We finally got into the space, but were worried the van could return and block us in.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Very well appointed and lots of kitchen equipment. Very comfy bed! Just didn't get the best weather unfortunately but Salcombe is very nice
