All lovingly completed by Di and Robin who were most welcoming. Much appreciated were was the freshly made scones with cream for afternoon tea and milk left in the fridge. Our's was a family reunion and the absolutely stunning kitchen facilitated happy gatherings around the generously sized kitchen table. An excellent kitchen in a holiday home is hard to find - but this was it - luxury. Beds and pillows were very comfortable with quality bed linen and huge fluffy white bath towels. A roll top bath in the family bathroom was very welcome. The fire in the living room worked well and the three sofas meant we were all comfortably seated at the same time. The comfortable Snug with the extra TV I can imagine being very much enjoyed by younger members of any family away from the adults, my son used it to watch a boxing match. The flat access to Barnfield worked extremely well for my mobility impaired Mum who came round for tea. Sitting outside in the private seating area in the afternoon sun was delightful and the sunlight played memorably on the layered landscaping and dry stone walls. We also enjoyed the company of the two farm cats. The access drive is not as pictured as Robin has now laid compacted gravel, almost like driving on tarmac. A memorable stay - thank you.
