Tucked away in a tranquil part of South Devon, this elegant family-friendly property with a games room is fantastic for multi-generational trips. Ideally situated between the coast and the countryside, you’ll be able to visit the South West Coast Path and Dartmoor National Park, both within 8 miles for invigorating walks of varying difficulty.

Step inside and head straight for the lounge to kick back and unwind. With an exposed stone wall and pastel decor, this calming space is a great place to catch up with family and make the most of the garden views. At mealtimes, the kitchen is a warm and welcoming space sure to inspire creativity in your cooking. A small dining table here also offers a lovely spot for breakfast or your morning coffee. Further down the hall, the dining room is a more formal space with seating for eight. Completing the ground floor is the fantastic games room, equipped with an array of board games and a table football table. Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find the second living room, a more cosy, intimate space with a characterful wood burner at its heart and access to the private balcony. Guests will have the choice between four bedrooms for a good night’s rest, with the largest being a master bedroom which has a blissful king-size bed and an en-suite with a bathtub and walk-in shower. There are a further two double bedrooms and a twin room which offer flexibility in the sleeping arrangements, each with their own style. Surrounding the house is a generous garden with areas including a large decked balcony to sit and enjoy both the sun and shade be it dining alfresco or playing garden games. For the cooler evenings, there is a gas firepit on the decked balcony giving you a warm glow in the fresh evening air.

Make for the coast and you’ll be able to take your pick from a selection of beautiful beaches between Torquay (8 miles) and Paignton (7 miles) whether you’re looking for a place to try rock pooling, a surf lesson on a day spent relaxing on a sandy bay. For a taste of city life, pay a visit to Exeter where the busy high street offers a wide array of shops and eateries whilst the cathedral and Royal Albert Memorial Museum offer a fascinating insight into local history.

Beautiful cottage and gardens in a great location with plenty of places to visit locally. Would definitely stay again.

A truly wonderful place to stay with everything you need and so much for our four kids to enjoy. Close to all the beaches, amazing garden and a brilliant house. Owners were also incredibly helpful and couldn’t recommend this place in the sun, rain or snow - you will have plenty to do.

A great place, loads to do if your not going out. The pool table and the table football were great and there are loads of games much too many to name. If your not into games the are loads of books of all sorts to read. Plenty of room in the garden and a large deck area with lots of seating space and a table tennis table. Highly recommend the pub up on the main road, very friendly and excellent food.
