Treat the family to an element of luxury on your holiday with a stay at the absolutely stunning Lower Manor Lodge in Bude. Set on a smallholding, there's plenty of space for the kids and your four-legged friends to run wild; explore the woodland, stream and pond that can be found on the 3.5 acres of land surrounding the lodge. Summer evenings can be spent relaxing on the decking in the private garden or, if it's a little chilly, retreat to the lounge for an evening gathered around the wood burner.
Lower Manor Lodge gives off an essence of grandeur thanks to the beautifully balanced mix of modern and traditional features throughout each room. The exposed beams and floor to ceiling windows in the impressive lounge act as a focal point to the whole property and give it the 'lodge' look. The light drawn in by the lounge windows passes through into a spacious, contemporary kitchen/diner which provides plenty of space to cook up a storm; its soft, pastel tones give it a real farmhouse feel. Upstairs the huge master bedroom houses a king-size bed and chaise lounge, with another large king and twin room providing ample room for six.
The property's remote location is a huge advantage to guests as it's almost directly halfway between the North Devon coast and Dartmoor National Park. A 16 mile drive north will take you to the quaint and unique fishing village of Clovelly. Traverse its famous steep, cobbled streets down to the picturesque harbour. 19 miles south of the property is the edge of Dartmoor – explore wild, open moorlands, river valleys and the famous ten tors.
