The golden sandy beaches of Bournemouth are just a few miles away and offer the perfect place to enjoy the summer sun or a blustery walk to blow away the cobwebs, fresh sea air is a tonic any time of the year! The New Forest Nation Park is also just a short drive away and offers wonderful walking and cycling routes, dotted with picture postcard villages, many with great village pubs. Great lodge, very easy access to the local area but was nice to retreat to the peace and quiet here at end of the day. Spotlessly clean and perfectly laid out for a mini break. Lovely shower room and nice touch of a fan available for the warm days. Only addition that could be helpful if staying longer would be a washing line/drying rack outside for the beach towels after a day out. Would recommend 👍

Had a lovely long weekend here ideal for the New Forest and the coast, quiet location and the nearby lakes ideal for a morning walk with the dog. A great place to stay.
