The property has direct access onto National Trust common land with plenty of good walks straight from the gate. Situated adjacent to the 18th green within Minchinhampton Golf Club Old Course and next door to the Clubhouse where great food and refreshments are served. It’s ideal for golfers and non-golfers alike. Also, opposite is a lovely cosy 16th-century pub serving great food and a great atmosphere to match. In Minchinhampton town centre, just under 1½ miles away, is another pub with excellent food, a fish and chip shop, a delicatessen, a butcher, a local shop selling most things, two hairdressers, a chemist, post office, doctors, library and two churches. Slightly further afield, just over 1½ miles, is Nailsworth which has similar but more extensive facilities to Minchinhampton and also a supermarket and a petrol station.
The property is located within the owner’s garden, and visitors will have access to a small enclosed private garden with seating behind the property, ideal for morning coffee or afternoon tea. There are also great views over the common and valleys from all the upstairs windows, and in the dining area there is a dining table for up to 6 guests.
