The charming interior is well furnished and from the living room there are French windows to the gardens. Close to the historic town of Painswick and Slad village of Laurie Lee fame. Ideally holiday placed for touring in unspoilt landscapes enhanced by many fine houses, gardens and ancient Roman interests. Cheltenham and Gloucester within 10 miles, Bath 30 miles. London is only 1 hour and 20 minutes by train from Stroud station. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Groot huis, prachtige tuin met uitzicht, lekkere bedden. Rustige omgeving, veel privacy.

Violet Cottage is a lovely little cottage situated in a quiet village near Stroud, and also on the bus route to Gloucester if you felt like leaving the car at home. The cottage is equipped with everything you could want and the owner is lovely and does everything to make your stay feel special. The views out of the kitchen window are also amazing.
