Guests consistently praise the lodge for its immaculate condition, peaceful setting, and thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper. The property is well-equipped, spacious, and offers a relaxing outlook over a lake and golf course. It's within walking distance to local amenities, though the beach is a bit further than some expected.
Reviewers are unanimous in their appreciation of the lodge's cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and extremely clean, which indicates a high standard of hygiene and upkeep.
The location is generally well-received for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions. However, there is a minor discrepancy in the expected versus actual distance to the beach, slightly affecting the score.
The lodge is repeatedly noted for its spaciousness and comfort, accommodating various group sizes with ease and providing a relaxing environment.
Facilities are praised, including the country club and in-house amenities like TVs in bedrooms. A minor critique about the distance to on-site facilities and a suggestion for additional kitchenware slightly impact the score.
The welcome hamper is frequently mentioned as a delightful touch, reflecting the property owners' thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed for every stay.

Having tvs in the bedrooms was great to let the kids have a chill out after days out. The surrounding area was peaceful with the pond and friendly ducks, the outdoors furniture was great for evening and night time relaxing (and a bit of stargazing). The only minor downside was the distance to the on-site facilities (but this was not the end of the world), and with booking through Sykes the swimming was at full price (£15 per person) instead of £6, for 90 minutes.
