Primrose Manor accommodates up to sixteen guests in six/seven bedrooms and is a magnificent country house that is packed full of character and charm. Sitting in the tranquil little hamlet of Up Mudford, close to Yeovil on the border of Somerset and Dorset this impressive house provides the perfect venue for celebrating a special occasion or just getting away for a few nights of country living with friends and family (dogs are welcome!).

Steeped in history, Primrose Manor has much of its original charm preserved such as the old mullion windows, exposed brickwork and stone /wooden floors; enhanced by modern day conveniences to make your stay relaxing and memorable. The grand staircase is sure to impress from the moment you arrive, as is the huge fireplace with log burner in the dining room where everyone can dine around one table - just perfect for catching up over supper or a special meal (outside caterers can be arranged). Enjoy a glass over the pool or table football tournament in the games room, bubble away in the hot tub, or lounge in the two sitting rooms with fires for relaxing with your favourite tipple after dinner. Outside is every bit as appealing with space for garden boules, a trampoline for the little ones, a patio with BBQ area for alfresco dining and river frontage adding to the magic of the setting.

Nestling within Mudford Manor Estate, Primrose Manor is encapsulated by fields and a haven for wildlife with stunning far-reaching views encompassing the Rver Yeo and Trent village in the distance. Enjoy strolling around the estate of an evening and along the river of a day (why not take a picnic or your fishing rod!). The local gastro pub serves excellent food for lunch and dinner (they are happy to book you a taxi back!), or make the most of the excellent facilities provided at Primrose Manor and self-cater.

If you are planning an action packed weekend, then you are in for a treat with lots of activities that can be arranged from shooting and sailing to pony trekking, fishing and even zorbing or a fun 'its a knock out' style competition. For walkers, the Monarch's Way passes through the village of Trent on the other side of the Yeo.and stretches for some six hundred miles and there are lovely leisurely walks throughout the estate. History lovers should visit one of the areas castles or stately homes including Sherborne Abbey, Montacute House, Barrington Court and Lytes Carey Manor (National Trust). For those who enjoy being pampered, treatments can be arranged with a beautician - perfect for hen nights and ladies days!
