This is a stunning apartment with its own entrance on the lower ground floor in a gorgeous Victorian villa, Riviera Mansion, overlooking Torre Abby beach. This is an ideal location for exploring Torquay and surrounding areas.
Internally the apartment is furnished to a high standard with high specification furnishings. The living room and first bedroom boasts floor to ceiling bay windows with a glass door leading out on to the balcony, that offers spectacular sea nad land views of Torbay, a 3-person swinging chair and patio heaters. Day or night, guests will be rewarded with unrivalled panoramic views from this striking apartment. Gaze down on the vibrant marina, Torre Abbey beach, or across the bay towards Paignton and Brixham. On a clear day Dartmoor can be seen. It provides the perfect viewpoint for annual events including the Red Arrows, firework displays and sailing events throughout the year.
Riviera Mansion is a Landmark Property overlooking the beach. It was originally constructed in the 1840’s by the English owner of a South African diamond mine. In the late 1950’s it was converted into the Homers Hotel. It closed in 2001 the property was split into four; a private home and three holiday lets.

Stunning view topped off by swinging chair on the balcony! Comfortable sofas and beds. The best fluffy towels. Very clean. Has everything you need for your holiday including washing machine and dishwasher. Could do with an airer for longer stay there may have been one but I spent so much time on the swing chair I may not have noticed it! It was so good to have a parking space too! Quiet and peaceful location. There's a few steps down to apartment but that is on the ad. Just to be mindful if you have any mobility issues couple of steps inside flat too. My only gripes and they are minimal was the toaster button didnt always stay down and not enough mugs. Wifi a bit hit and miss with signal. Ceiling fan when turned on sounded loose. Check in was 5pm whereas a lot of places is 3pm. Town few minutes drive or if you like a hilly walk maybe 20 mins down over the bridge and a lovely promenade walk you could be mistaken in the sunshine for being abroad! I would definitely book again!

We had a fantastic week at Riviera Apartment. The weather made it even better. The view from the apartment is brilliant, we have travelled all over the world and never stayed anywhere with a better view.

Great apartment with amazing view. Just couple of points to note: the garden space in front of the apartment looking out at the view is not completely private as there seems to be access for others and can find people walking through occasionally. Also can hear footsteps from the property above particularly if there are children running around. However this is a great and spacious apartment which is very comfortable. It is also in a good location with access to the marina and number of restaurants and cafes. We were disappointed with the Town centre though as seems it has been neglected and was dirty.
