Avon Turn View is consistently praised for its peaceful and beautiful setting, with guests enjoying the wildlife and river views. The hosts, Martin and Shelagh, are commended for their warm welcome and helpfulness. The property is noted for its cleanliness, comfort, and quality facilities. Guests appreciate the proximity to Salisbury and the added bonus of a riverside decking area.
Guests frequently mention the property's exceptional cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean' and 'well equipped to a high standard'. This indicates a high level of satisfaction with the cleanliness of the property.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to Salisbury, with the added charm of wildlife and river views. However, one review notes the lack of amenities within walking distance, slightly affecting the perfect score.
Reviewers consistently describe their stays as comfortable, with special mentions of super-comfortable beds and bedding. The property is also referred to as cosy and spacious, indicating a high level of comfort.
Facilities are generally described as of good quality, clean, and well-maintained. The decking area by the river is a highlight, though no specific mention of maintenance issues suggests that facilities are in good order.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in their warm hospitality and allowing guests to use their private decking. Gifts like apples from the garden are mentioned, but as these are personal gestures, they may not be a consistent offering for all guests.

The owners are friendly, helpful and live right next to the property. The location is fine but there isn't much within a walking distance. The local pub wasn't open and the village itself was incredibly small.

The property is set in stunning grounds with the River Avon running along the bottom of the garden, the decked seating area offering the ideal spot for relaxing at the end of a busy day. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the loft apartment was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be booking again.
