Recline after your journey and plan the day ahead of you in a homely sitting room with paintings adding a splash of colour to the walls and an electric fire stove to war your feet in the colder months. When mealtimes call, a stylish kitchen with ample amenities and wooden furniture is the perfect space for family cooking, and you can enjoy your masterpiece at the dining table, which can be found in the sitting room, or why not dine alfresco in the courtyard and enjoy the salty air? As the evening wears on, relax with a soak amongst the bubbles in the family bathroom before retiring to one of the three bedrooms available, a king-size with storage and homely décor, a double and a single with pull-out truckle bed, perfect for children. The local area of Aldeburgh is one full of hidden gems, beginning with the eateries scattered throughout the quaint cottages, leaving you spoilt for choice when it comes to dining out and enjoying a glass of your favourite beverage. The beach is only a short walk from the property and is a must, offering stretches of pebbles and coastal views, ideal for a family picnic, watersports or walks with your four-legged companion. More walks can be enjoyed at Snape path and the wonderful Haven Nature reserve, where you can immerse yourself in wildlife. For history lovers there is the Aldeburgh Museum where you can find out more about the town’s heritage. Make a holiday to remember with a stay at Seaflower.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The house was very well equipped with everything that you would need. Our children also loved it and want to go back to ‘the blue house’ soon!

However the kitchen left much to be desired. There was very little cutlery. The worktops were very sticky. The washing up bowl was old and not clean enough. The washing up brush was not clean enough to use and we immediately bought another one. The cottage was not suitable for 2 dogs as outside space was small and airless. We spent very little time in the cottage as our relatives had booked another one which was much more welcoming. Good job the weather was kind to us!

Well situated in Aldeburgh high street. Near the sea and the town. Felt at home very quickly. Great to have a back garden to read in. Good size bedrooms with clean and comfy beds. Large bathroom with a shower. Would definitely recommend.
