The property is in the perfect location for getting out and about and exploring with Snape Maltings, a short drive away which is home to the famous Maltings Concert Hall and seaside towns such as Aldeburgh, Orford and Southwold all offering a great range of shops and eateries as well as activities such as sailing, golfing, walking and cycling. There is something for everyone with trips out to places such as Glemham Hall, Easton Farm Park, Helmingham Hall and Open Gardens and Adnams Brewery all offering an eclectic mix of outings. Saxmundham is a small market town located on the River Fromus, in the heart of Suffolk’s Heritage Coast. The town is well serviced with independent shops, local museum, supermarkets and a train station, as well as art galleries, a weekly market and a farmers’ market. Situated so close to the coast, Saxmundham is a great base for a seaside holiday; within easy reach of Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, as well as Dunwich, Southwold and Walberswick, you could enjoy a different coastal location each day. Also close by is the inland market town Framlingham with beautiful historic architecture, a castle and an array of independent shops. South of the town there is the well known tourist destination of Sutton Hoo, an ancient Royal Anglo-Saxon burial site. With Ipswich an easy drive south, and Norwich an easy drive north, there’s so much to see and do in and around Saxmundham.
