Amazing property but accessed down a single track road without regular passing areas. Fortunately the road was very quiet. Half the property dates back to the 17th century. The other half is modern. The spiral stairs in the old part felt unsafe so we to used the other modern one. This meant other guests had to go through our bedroom. The Jack and Gill bathroom upstairs was a novel experience. There was an abundance of seats. The TV would only work off the Firestick through the internet. Our radio was also deaf so we used my laptop via the internet. Overall we had a great holiday and were thrilled to see the local fauna including deer, rabbits, bats ( one rested in one of the bedrooms), and pheasants. The lady looking after the property who resided next door was very helpful and even provided a camping gas burner when we had a power cut. Fortunately the lady had received messages indicating when the power cut would end so there was no need to panic and contemplate going home a day early.
