Settled into a fantastic location within Southwold, Suffolk, 14 Dunwich Road is a stunning Victorian townhouse close to local amenities and perfect for a family or group of adults looking to explore the coast. Boasting original features and steeped in history, this property combines Victorian architecture with contemporary design throughout, beginning with a sitting room where you can relax beside the woodburning stove and bay windows which allow in seas of natural light. The kitchen is amply fitted with everything you will need to cook up a storm and painted a delicate green to complement the wooden furniture, and here you will also find the dining table. Soak the sand from your hair in the family bathroom before snuggling up for the night in one of the three bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite and ornamental fireplace, a double and a twin, each with their own individual character. Outside, enjoy breakfast in the sunshine in the sitting area. Southwold is a stunning seaside town with so much on offer for guests, beginning with the bustling high street, just a short walk from the property, and here you can explore local independent shops and enjoy a meal at one of the many tasty eateries available. The beach is ideal for those looking to feel the sea breeze on their skin and here you can enjoy a walk along the shoreline, picnics with a view or even try out wild swimming and watersports. Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, rspb Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
