It’s set within the landscaped grounds of the owner's home, right on the English and Welsh borders. The vibrant market town of Presteigne (2.5 miles) is full of independent shops, welcoming pubs, eateries, local produce and a lively calendar of events including its popular arts and music festival. Keen walkers can visit Kington (8 miles) where there are an abundance of walks, including the Offa's Dyke Path which can be joined here. History lovers can visit the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne, while National Trust gems at Croft Castle (9 miles) and Berrington Hall (13 miles) make rewarding days out. Medieval strongholds at Ludlow (18.5 miles) and Stokesay (17 miles) are also within easy reach, alongside beautiful gardens including Bryan's Ground Garden (2 miles), Hampton Gardens (16.5 miles) and Hergest Croft Gardens (9.5 miles). Hay-on-Wye (20.5 miles), the gateway to the Brecon Beacons, Knighton (9 miles) and the rolling Shropshire Hills (20 miles) are within easy reach.
On arrival, follow the long tree-lined driveway to reach your front door, then step into a large airy open-plan living space. The main room has comfy sofa seating with a Smart TV, a king-size bed and a table football game for a little friendly competition in the evenings. Just beyond, there’s a bright conservatory for sitting down to meals, or simply curling up on the sofa with a good book while looking out across the gardens. The separate kitchen is well equipped for preparing everything from leisurely breakfasts to evening meals. A wet room featuring a walk-in shower and WC completes the inside space.
Outside, you'll have access to a large wonderful private landscaped garden with a terrace for sitting with morning coffee. There's a large swing sofa and multiple seating areas around the garden to allow you to choose from sitting out in the open or in a shaded spot. Spend evenings dining al fresco using the gas BBQ and relaxing around the sunken fire pit, admiring the area's famously dark skies, and spend time exploring the 2.5 acres of shared grounds, where wildlife ponds and a wooded area create plenty of opportunities for spotting nature. Private parking for two cars is provided.
