Set on one level, Blackrock Barn offers guests lovely views from the property and from the private seating area. It is set on the owner’s own farm and is close to the delightful market town of Hay-on-Wye, with its world renowned annual literary festival held in May.
Originally constructed as part of the Norman invasion of Wales, Hay Castle is a medieval site which offers guests a fascinating day out. The historic cathedral city of Hereford is approximately 20 miles away and offers an array of bars, shops and restaurants for guests to enjoy on a day out to the city. There is a good range of country pubs nearby, where guests can enjoy food and a drink. Lovely converted barn with beautiful surroundings overlooking the river. An hours walk into Hay-on-Wye and a short walk to the nearest pub. Great place to stay for a peaceful break, thank you for having us!
