Very well equipped kitchen (the best we have seen in many years of staying in holiday cottages all round the U.K.). The owner - Lynn, was so helpful and only a phone call away. The weather was spectacularly bad on several days (thunderstorms), but it was comforting to know that we could return to the warmth and comfort of Notts House to dry out and relax at the end of the day. Handy village stores just down the road and Fish & Chip night on Wednesdays courtesy of a mobile provider. Highly recommended property.

On top of this, the cottage was beautiful, full of history and situated in the most beautiful country setting.

The two rooms in the attic, as mentioned in the listing, are difficult to reach but for our four year old it added to the magic as she thought she was sleeping in the princess tower. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Was a privilege to have the opportunity to stay there.
