We had a lovely holiday in Flo's cottage which was perfect for walking on Offa's Dyke. It is very small but well equipped with everything you could need, especially in the kitchen. It is right on the main road so there is some traffic noise but both bedrooms open onto the back of the house so noise there is minimal. Jan was very friendly and helpful, she left us a lovely welcome box of local produce and was always available to answer any queries. We were especially grateful when she cheerfully came to the rescue when we had locked ourselves out! The house is fine for two people but perhaps would be a bit tight for four adults if you are spending a lot of time there.

Delightful and characterful cottage ideally located in a historic, friendly and well serviced town. The owner resolved an issue within the hour so the service could not be faulted and the personal welcome and farewell messages really made the stay personal.

A homely, quirky and well appointed cottage a stones throw from the town centre and its numerous facilities. The owner has made excellent use of the space, with thoughtful and imaginative touches throughout. We appreciated the hamper, for both us and the dog. There is so much to see and do in the area without needing to travel far, a week wasn’t long enough. I’ve marked down comfort because I kept banging my elbow on the bedside table in the morning, and I found the pillows a little uncomfortable (personal choice). The location is only marked down as it’s on a main road, and entry into the house is straight into the lounge / dining area. Neither would stop me booking again. There were overnight roadworks for a few nights during our stay, but could barely be heard in the bedroom, and is no reflection on the owner. Thanks Jan and Flo ❤️
