The location was lovely, but unfortunately our stay was severely impacted by a complete lack of running water from the property's spring-fed supply, which ran dry during our holiday. This meant there was no water available for washing hands, showering, or other basic necessities, making the accommodation uninhabitable and forcing us to move elsewhere.What was most disappointing was the lack of support from Adam at Cottages.co When we contacted him, he stated that they were "just a booking agent" and offered no practical assistance in resolving the situation. As a result, I had to contact the owner directly myself.Thankfully, the owner was very helpful, understanding, and proactive. He worked with us to secure alternative accommodation for the remainder of our holiday, for which we were very grateful.While the setting is beautiful, a property without a reliable water supply is a serious issue, and the lack of assistance from the booking agent was extremely frustrating. The owner deserves credit for stepping in and helping when it mattered

A very tired property. Outside decking and furniture in a poor state The accommodation was not clean, dirty cupboards and utensils, mould around the bath and extractor fan not working. Dials on oven worn so difficult to set temperature etc.No grill pan.No fire extinguisher or blanket and none of the electrical items had PAT testing labels.Only informed after booking that the water was brown in colour and not recommended for drinking.
