Hot tub for 6 (private). 3 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Set within the owners’ working sheep and cattle farm in an elevated position to take in the stunning rural views. The lodge has private parking below the property from which there is an uphill walk to the front door, opening directly into the spacious open plan living space. Patio doors lead out onto a beautiful balcony area with spectacular views up the valley and is the perfect space for relaxing with a glass of your favourite tipple as you watch the sun go down.
Nearby there are walks aplenty for the more active, and many open gardens to explore including Hergest Croft Gardens in nearby Kington. There is also the small breeds animal park situated just outside Kington which younger visitors will be able to enjoy all year round.
Kington also provides guests with pubs and restaurants to enjoy as well as a number of takeaway restaurants if you are looking to enjoy a night in. The property is just 13 miles from the popular town of Hay-on-Wye which is famous for its many book shops and annual Hay Festival, which attracts many visitors each year, including many celebrity faces.

Amazing weekend at Red Kite Lodge. Absolutely perfect for a weekend away in the middle of nowhere. Lodge was so clean and had everything we needed. It was decorated for Christmas which made the stay extra special. Will be booking again soon 😊

Absolutely beautiful lodge!! Stayed with 4 friends for a girls weekend. Stunning location, clean, warm, well equipped. Can’t fault the lodge at all. Was a lovely surprise to wake up to sheep right outside. Hot tub was the perfect temp and well looked after. Not a speck of dirt in the whole lodge. Beds were comfy, lots of pillows. Not one bad thing to say about our stay! Thank you so much for having us! Will become an annual get away for us 🥰

We had a lovely stay at the Red Kite Lodge. The views are beautiful and such a lovely quiet location. The lodge itself was beautiful, very spacious, well equipped and a pleasure to stay in.
