We had a lovely stay at the cottage – it was spotlessly clean and very tidy, with amazing views. Marjorie was a fantastic host and the homemade produce she left as a welcome gift was a really thoughtful touch. The location is perfect for walking, with beautiful scenery all around; we’d highly recommend Offa’s Dyke Path and the old race track. The log burner was a real highlight and made the evenings especially cosy. We’ll definitely return for a longer stay in the future, as there’s still so much more to explore.

Beautiful views from this property and handy for shops in Kington. Small animal and owl centre just down the road and well worth a visit.

Steepholm is a fantastic base to enjoy the beautiful rural countryside. There are many walks in all directions starting from the bungalow. The home is very comfortable with quality furniture to relax in. Although the shower is over the bath, it is very powerful with plenty of hot water. To top of a great stay, Margery the owner couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Thank you for being a great host. All in all a very peaceful holiday.
