On the lovely borderlands where England and Wales brush against one another along Offa's Dyke, Leominster is situated. The town of Leominster, which dates back to the seventh century, is home to several outstanding specimens of architecture, including the Priory Church, as well as a large range of stores, cafes, and pubs. It is the perfect place to spend a peaceful afternoon ambling around in pleasant surroundings. Tenbury Wells, a minor market town nearby, is located along the banks of the River Teme. Tenbury Wells, which dates to the Iron Age and is rumoured to have been Queen Victoria's "little town in the orchard," is home to a remarkable 18th-century bridge constructed by Thomas Telford, the magnificent Pump Rooms, which housed baths where local mineral water was available, and numerous other 17th-century listed structures. Croft Castle, Berrington Hall, the Judge's Lodgings at Presteigne, Stokesay Castle, the famed Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, and the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm are just a few of the National Trust sites in the area. These are all well worth a visit. We stayed as a group of 9 adults and felt we had plenty of room for all of us. The pictures really don't do this place justice, it is huge! Gorgeous grounds, well equipped and fab en-suites on all the bedrooms. We couldn't fault it and some of the group have already said they want to come back! 10/10
