Kingsland 1 mile. A beautifully-presented, detached timber clad barn conversion set in the one acre grounds of the owner's home, surrounded by unspoilt Herefordshire countryside, a mile from the village of Kingsland and 3.5 miles from the town of Leominster. You enter into the welcoming sitting room with a cosy seating area and a dining area with plenty of natural light, then make your way through to the well-equipped and stylish kitchen which has everything guests need to prepare a romantic dinner. Head upstairs to the lovely bedroom with an adjoining bathroom to enjoy a rewarding soak after a days walking or cycling with routes available from the doorstep of the cottage.
Outside, five stone steps lead to a lawned area with garden furniture, ideal for relaxing with a good book whilst listening to the birdsong and local wildlife. The pretty village of Kingsland is close by and has two good pubs, a well-stocked shop and a Post Office. Enjoy the many outdoor activities on offer in the area, visit the local cheesemaker in Monkland or spend an afternoon strolling around the historic towns of Leominster, Ludlow or the cathedral city of Hereford. A wonderful cottage to stay in at any time of the year.
Kingsland is an ancient village in beautiful Herefordshire countryside, less than five miles north west of Leominster. The village has two good pubs, a Post Office and a store. Many activities can be enjoyed in the area including a high wire rope course, paintball, quad trekking and raft building, all of which are available at the local Oaker Wood activity centre. The town of Leominster has a wide variety of shops, cafes, antique centres and pubs, and there are many National Trust properties close by.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Painter's Cottage & the lovely garden for sitting out & relaxing on the warm evenings.The owner was a considerate host making sure everything was okay for us during our holiday.

The owner is a welcoming host and her information pack is very useful. A few bumps upstairs until used to low eaves apart it proved to be a restful week. Thoroughly enjoyable break and strongly recommended.
