Rivington Barn is one of two converted barns situated around a traditional farm style courtyard. Nestling between the beautiful Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean, enjoy beautiful views across the Malvern Hills. With many countryside walks from the doorstep and yet only a five minute drive to Ross-on-Wye with all its pubs, restaurants and shops, Rivington Barn is the ideal boutique style, country bolthole for friends and families to gather together and explore the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.
Rivington Barn and Acorn Cottage are a delightful pair of converted barns in a beautiful countryside location, a short distance from the scenic market town of Ross-on Wye. Both cottages can also be booked together as Little Howle Farm sleeping six guests.
Set over two floors, upside-down style, with a beautiful wooden staircase running through the centre from the spacious entrance hall, connecting the ground and first floor. Light floods in from the impressive double height glazing.
On the ground floor, on either side of the staircase, are the two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Both have king-size beds which can be configured as twin single beds if required. Each en-suite bathroom enjoys a large bath and generous separate walk in shower. Fine linens and soft fluffy towels complete the feel of this barn conversion.
Walk up the central staircase into a breath-taking galleried space, completely open-plan and boasting high ceilings, exposed beams and natural light flooding through the full height windows. To the right, the large sitting area is framed by the exposed roof trusses and has a superb gas effect wood burning stove, comfy sofas and a Smart television, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring the nearby towns. The dining and kitchen area is to the left, providing a great social space for cooking and entertaining. The modern kitchen is well-equipped for even the keenest chef, and plenty of space for up to six guests to sit around the dining table.
Outside, to the front of the barn is a furnished patio area where you can enjoy a morning coffee whilst preparing for the day ahead. Behind the barns is a large, shared lawned area, complete with a barbecue, fire pit and a sun terrace at the top, ideal for those warmer summer evenings whilst overlooking the Malvern Hills; with very little light pollution, the terrace is perfect for star gazing.
